Public Meeting 06.10.2014:
In the Village Hall about the new Village Hall. The meeting is to share the ideas so far and to give people an opportunity to give their views. All wlecome at 7.30.
The Village Hall Management Committee is aiming to replace the existing village hall with a new multi-purpose building. If you are interested in this project in any way, please contact any of the following:

Lots of things need doing to achieve the target cost of the new village hall. If you would like to get involved ~ help with fund raising, persuade villagers to contribute, distribute leaflets, organise publicity, keep the website and social media up to date ~ please get in touch with one of us on the above committee.
Concert in aid of new Village Hall:
At Bradfield College Chapel ~ the Choral Society will be singing Five Spirituals from 'A Child of Our Time' and John Rutter's Magnificat on Saturday 11th October at 19.30. Tickets £10 from Village Stores or 9744920 or 9744234. Also via email
St. Andrew's Final Service:
20th November at 16.00. Full details in the September Newslink on page 18.
There is an open invitation to join in the final service ~ more details in the November issue of Newslink.

Terrible Broadband?
The shop is experiencing problems with their broadband like many others. They are looking for individuals who would be willing to act as 'Internet Champions' to see how matters can be improved. If you are interested in helping please leave your name and contact details in the shop.
