This scheme is a practical way of supporting older people living independently in their own homes. The service is run by Age Concern Berkshire in partnership with The Volunteer Centre West Berkshire and is supported by West Berkshire Council.

Pang & Kennet Valley Countryside Projects
The Friends of the Pang and Kennet Valley Countryside Project has been set up to represent all the people who care about the countryside in the two valleys.

West Berkshire Council's 'At Home' Library Service
West Berkshire Library Service now has a team of volunteers who are willing and able to collect and deliver books and story cds or cassettes to you in your own home in West Berkshire. Read all about it in this month's Newslink or if you are interested please contact Sandra Edwards (01635 519827).

Night ice skating at Alexandra Palace arranged by BACYP. Transport will be provided and will leave the village hall at 22.00 and return at 06.00 for breakfast at 07.00. We have only been allocated 10 places so book early - £15.00 per person, all inclusive.
