Easy Shop: A new home shopping service for older people
This scheme is a practical way of supporting older people living independently in their own homes. The service is run by Age Concern Berkshire in partnership with The Volunteer Centre West Berkshire and is supported by West Berkshire Council.

The Friends of the Pang and Kennet Valley Countryside Project has been set up to represent all the people who care about the countryside in the two valleys.

West Berkshire Library Service now has a team of volunteers who are willing and able to collect and deliver books and story cds or cassettes to you in your own home in West Berkshire. Read all about it in this month's Newslink or if you are interested please contact Sandra Edwards (01635 519827).

The Way Ahead with Miles for Macmillan - 12.02.12 Valentine's Walk

Registration online or 01264 343813 and £10 entry fee. Six mile circular walk in Hambledon.
Weekend of 3rd and 4th March:
Community Scratch Choir - sing pieces from Great British Choral Works at Bradfield College.
03.03.12: 09.30 - 13.00 and 14.00 - 17.00
04.03.12 15.00 - 18.00 followed by performance in the Chapel at 19.30
No experience necessary - no auditions - music provided - open to over 14s (children under 18 must be accompanied by participating adult) - cost £20.00 (£15.00) including light refreshments - bring packed lunch for the Saturday - all profits to The Charles Clore Day Therapy Unit based in Thatcham.

Variety Show in aid of Daisy's Dream in Bradfield Primary School Hall at 17.30 - dancers - musicians of all ages - drama - kaleidoscope choir - singers - all welcome.
Suggested minimum donation: Adults and Teenagers £5 each, children under 13 free.
