Bradfield Southend Village Stores is a non-profit making community enterprise which opened in 2005 providing a shop and post office. It was partly financed by local people, many of whom are shareholders. It is controlled by a Management Committee and is currently housed in a temporary building in the car park of Bradfield Village Hall. It is hoped to get a permanent building within four years.

New On-demand Products from the Post Office: we are very pleased to announce that from 24th June, in addition to supplying euros on demand, we will also be able to supply US dollars and Euro and US dollar Traveller's Cheques. All other currencies may be obtained the following day if they are ordered before 14.00. Don't forget that there is no commission charged on foreign currency obtained from the post office.
